July 31, 2025Jul 31 Robert is at .353/.441/.549 over the last month, so I’m not upset that he’s staying. Hopefully he keeps it up for the rest of the year and they pick up his option.

I think they fully intended to trade him, played hardball, and everyone went to other options leaving them with nothing. I’ll gladly admit I was wrong if that option gets exercised.

He can just DeWanna Bonner (WNBA) his way off the team and join any organization he wants next season on a one year FA contract Hays Austin Hays signed with Cincy. He doesn't need the money like Rodon did in 2021/22.
