Couldn’t the Bengals have been called for an illegal block, as they drilled a Bears guy on the onside kick before it went ten yards?

Seems like all bets were off as soon as Hardy touched it, which seems crazy but whatever

Who cares about playoffs right now?  Why is that even a concern, they just need to keep moving forward and get better.  Their cornerbacks are decimated, the special teams is awful, but the running game is getting better, and Caleb is taking steps forward.  It’s not perfect but I like what Johnson is doing so far

This - offense played well.  Caleb still leaving stuff out there and can improve - but we know that.  He flashed some special out there today and at some point the offense is going to figure out how to work the scramble drill and I think at that point we'll see this unit consistently elevate their output.

Insane that they blew it though - defense decimated or not, not okay, but really nice to see offense pick the D up. Special teams really gets no love from me.  Pathetic.  Consistently pathetic.  Odunze too.  Another couple drops.

Total beast. Loved it!!! Loveland made a few plays too.

Also nice to see a few of this years draft picks contribute - in Loveland and Monagai.  Now keep grinding and keep working.  Giants aren't some pushover - quite frankly with our defense as decimated as it is in the secondary, no one can be considered a push over.  Let's make it a winning streak.

Sam Darnold is legit, I guess some QBs take more time to develop. Please let that be the case with Caleb lol. And I'm not talking about more years down the line but show clear progression by the end of this season.

Monangai and Loveland supporters were validated this weekend...now they have too many options in Moore Kmet Odunze Burden Swift etc.

A lot like Detroit's problem right now.

Defense wins playoff games, but offense more fun to watch.

If I can have a preference, I want an above average offense with an elite defense, that'll get it done...

Darnold was in some dreadful situations before O’Connell straightened him out

Caleb looks like the world’s best QB compared to how Darnold looked 1.5 years into his career. People have to be patient with Caleb - he is already solid, yet has is frustrated cause we see there is so much still to grow. This is first year really working from the center and you can see growth - low points too - but he showed flashed some good stuff today and the offense had some more drops and he had a few misreads too.

I think the next growth we will see with this offense is them starting to get the scramble drill chemistry - when that happens we are going to see some more explosives for the Bears and it will kind of force defenses to play different this enabling Caleb to continue to advancing his ability from there to be a stronger middle of the field passer!

The Commanders' season is over. Daniels is probably done for the year and Quinn probably deserves a lot of blame for keeping him in when they were down by 31 with 7 minutes left.

Last year, the hail mary killed the Bears' season. This year, the Moody game winning field goal killed the Commanders' season.

Kind of crazy how the narrative flipped on Washington.  It just never looked right this season

I saw the replay of the injury and that really looked ugly, he is lucky that isn’t his throwing arm

One of the worst passes I’ve ever seen 😂

That honestly should have been a pick 6 lol

feels like the expectations have gotten to Lafleur.  Packers have been playing tight and he is getting weird and combative in interviews and press conferences

couple thoughts:

- Still very bullish on Johnson as HC, he managed the timeouts and clocks perfectly end of game. We always have 3 timeouts end of half and use them well.

- Poles has to go. I think hightower should be on the way out as his kickoff coverage has been terrible all year, and now the onside kick fiasco. And the penalties. But Poles basically drafts for special teams in the fourth round and later, including a punter, and it is still this bad of a unit. And now blackwell is out.

Then add to that, this absolutely trash d line which has many 2nd round/3rd round draft picks, many many millions of dollars. And it is awful. The secondary is obviously beaten up, but just crazy how terrible this defensive line is. And that is inexcusable to me year 4 after a tear down job. What's worse is guys that come in, look terrible, then go elsewhere and look great (al-quadin muhammed is doing great in seattle). Something just terrible with his player evals.

Of course, he did have a day with Monongai and Colston showing up. But I'm just so so frustrated that this team is missing elite guys with so many draft picks and money and trades made.

I have zero confidence that if he makes a trade for a guy today/tomorrow, that he will get a guy with impact, let alone win. It will probably be an underperforming 25/26 year old with great athletic profile and zero production.

I will say it was 4th and 8. He's had two interceptions like this where he kinda throws up an interception prayer and it kinda makes sense to do given the context.

Ok I do need to also give flowers for Wright, he seems to be trending to elite. I love watching his run blocking every week. He absolutely plows players, it is so rad. We love our offensive lineman in chicago, my apologies to Darnell.
