Even better question...how much money was spent on stiffs, has been's, injury prone guys, dead beats et al. JR (from what little we know) won't object to wasting millions on those type players even under Hahn but we sure as hell know what he thinks about paying premium money for premium talent.
May 19, 2025May 19 I like how active this FO office when it comes to adding depth and mixing up the bottom of the roster. A rebuilding team should totally be doing this but I hope it continues when they’re competitive as well. I have no problem with them taking a flyer on Houser. They need someone who can come in and eat innings to save the bullpen.

I think this says more about Jerry, than Getz. Jerry is always looking to spend $0.50 in hopes of getting more than he paid for.
