Timmy U
Sox were already at 39. Anyone know why they’re clearing space?
southsider2k5
I don't recall seeing him DFAd. When did that happen?
ChiSox59
Bummer. Guessing they felt he might clear due to performance. I liked him a good bit a year ago, but woof since.

WhiteSox2023
We just lost our 24th ranked prospect for nothing. For shame…

For shame… Personally, I think he has taken so few steps forward, who knows whose fault that is, that he was no longer a top 30 guy. As a reliever who can’t throw strikes, he was trending towards Org/NP level for me.

There is no point in putting him on waivers if you aren't going to DFA him. DFA at least allows you to clear him off of the 40 if he is not claimeds. chitownsportsfan
Good. They should be more proactive in clearing out dead wood.
WestEddy
I have no problem with this. Nastrini has not been good in, like, ever. Also, isn't Fraser Ellard on a rehab stint?

Dick Allen
If he could throw a strike he could be pretty good. But that’s not going to happen.

Career AAA innings eater that maybe gets one more shot at big league pus, er, big league paychecks as a reliever before he retires. At most.
