Great lets launch an identity politics turd

What's identity politics? It has to do with a fundamental misunderstanding of scripture. Why is he citing the covenant God made specifically with Jews? I thought he was a Christian? He's following the rest of Jewish law, right?

It's an intellectual argument, kitekrazy. I dunno if you know about such a thing.

It's simply his way of disagreeing with Pride Night without getting suspended.

The thing is...baseball itself is still quite homophobic and it's largely a sport dominated by a number of conservative Gen X and Baby Boomers on both the fan and administration side.

You'll just get shouted at, lol.

seems as though he's the only one putting other posters down. I would certainly be curious about his knowledge of the Bible because I think I took the "Christian perspective". It's also just a baseball game, but that guy Kershaw fundamentally misinterpreted scripture in order to be hateful to people. He should be more critical of divorce, the New Testament and Jesus specifically is much more clear about that. These Christians should try to act more like Jesus, frankly.

Al Franken did a good bit on it! (supply side Jesus). I think the Reformation was a good idea but Protestants definitely ran wild with it. They translated that whole bit into English, but nobody read it.

Anyway, the man is getting touched up.

Who cares?  He’s a stupid baseball player, like most of them.

Yeah, Al Franken should probably keep quiet when it comes to religion, ethics, and morals.  🤣

That's the right point, but we all listen to these guys and take them seriously. Unfortunately, they're role models. And if it's not the ball player, it's the singer or rapper or whatever. Worth criticizing all of them. I think the Kershaw one is easy to criticize because he's a Christian and doesn't seem to understand our faith very well.

well, he shouldn't have brought the rest of us into it with his misquotation of scripture. He doesn't like gay people for whatever reason. Social expectations. Scripture has very little to do with it. The potential meaning of "ἀρσενοκοῖται" is pretty interesting, but what does Clayton Kershaw know about it except what media told him?
