Hopefully a lower payroll team competing for the postseason that needs a cheap option is willing to pay in prospect(s) rather than money.

How about a team that has plenty of prospect? And a team not named the Dodgers

How did the league let us get Houser for free lol

Houser has bought us a decade of Bannister will fix-em memes, just like Thornton did for Coop.

Or Phil Humber's crazy ass run. Houser goes from absolute cheeks to (as fathom said) the guy probably repping them in the All-Star game.

Aren't we going overboard here?  He's pitching against the Rockies

True, but he has been really good in 8 starts now.  He’s dirt cheap and teams always need starting pitching.  A top 100 prospect, or just outside of that range, may actually not be ridiculous.

You move Houser if you can get at least a couple top prospects, preferably OF prospects with power. I don't know if there are any OF prospects in the Sox system that are close to making the big leagues.

You move him regardless.  He is a free agent after this season.  A better team than the Sox will sign him to a deal.

You’re not getting a top 100 for him

Tbh, I could see the Mets taking him and Robert together, but actually wanting Robert.

He was bad for the Mets last year, don't think they'd run it back despite him looking like a different guy now.

Yeah teams are looking for the big strikeout starters. We saw Fedde get dinged also for his lack of premium stuff.
