September 28, 2025Sep 28 He had a very respectable season in the field, not too good with the bat but still cranked out 9 homers and drove in 34 runs, not all that bad for our 5th outfielder. Maybe he can get his 10th homer today which would give us 7 guys in double digit homers. Good luck to him in his retirement.

This makes me wonder - what do players like him typically do after retirement since he's only 34? Not all of them can go into broadcasting or coaching.

He made $27.4 million, I'd consider that generational wealth. I'd imagine he would at least take a good amount of time off with his wife and 2 young kids

They seem to be hinting at him going into coaching should he want to.
