I try not to let recency bias play too much part for a draft pick but not a great end to his career for Roch and I do think there's some scenarios that work out for the Sox without him as the pick. That said, long way to go with interviews and workouts and for once I actually feel fairly confident this team we have knows what they are doing.

Somehow it's going to be pretty deflating if both Ga Tech on Monday and ofc UCLA are already eliminated.

The excitement level has been dampened by at least 50%...especially going into this long waiting/speculation period.

Now it's more of a feeling of let's not mess THIS one up, please!!!

At the beginning of the season I thought Getz had the easiest time with Roch. Now Lackey makes that suck.

With Lackey on the table I think they need to decide immediately if he or Teel stays at catcher. Teel has played RF in the past, so it wouldn't be insane to move him.

Really not sure there's any reason to move off of Roch, but if the scouts determine Lackey is BPA I don't think current positional need should factor into the decision whether to draft him. A lot of things can happen in the couple years (minimum) before he comes up. Teel might already be off catcher by then; he might be ready to move off; he might be hurt, he might be a bust.
