Wednesday at 09:22 PM2 days My preference is still Roch but ive warmed up to the idea of Emerson and would be fine if they went that route. Either way, they will be selecting a really nice prospect.

Wednesday at 10:47 PM1 day I wonder if they are trying to get one of them at an underslot value. Any chance you think they could trade for one of the comp picks? I don't know what they would give up or even the correct value for something like that.The other thing, I wonder if they are talking to Roch or Emerson about moving off of shortstop. Before this year, I think most of us were skeptical about Montgomery staying at shortstop. However, with the emergence of Vargas and Monty playing a good shortstop, I would assume( Roch especially) would have to move to 2nd base or centerfield. Roch's timeline would probably be a year in the minors with the expectation that by 2028 opening day, he would be in the MLB. The Pirates supposedly have their comp pick available for some immediate help (believe I saw that they wanted bullpen help), but not sure if the Soxline up with them in that regard.
