Just Baseball's (and FutureSox's) Adrian White has a fairly thorough breakdown of the White Sox' pitching situation, heading into camp:

GM Chris Getz explained that the White Sox have prioritized wiggle room, particularly on the pitching side, because “navigating a full season takes a lot of pitching.” The club has stretched out multiple arms and remains open to adding more, noting it still has “flexibility” if opportunities arise.

Orioles projected 3b and 2b out for some time.....................Sosa?

I don't get why people are so quick to want to trade Sosa. Even with Murakami and to a lesser extent Austin Hays, this team needs all the power it can get. Sosa even with his flaws hit 22 homers last year, he has value.

It comes down to roster fit.  Sosa’s path to playing time is limited because of his defensive shortcomings.  Right now, I’m assuming the bulk of his at-bats will be at DH and against LH pitching.  That’s just not a huge role.  Obviously injury could change that, but even then Antonacci isn’t too far off and will eventually push for a role.  Plus the Sox already have Baldwin who is a better option at 3B or 2B.

None of this means you should trade him, but it’s hard to see his value going up as a short side platoon DH.

They would almost be better off showcasing him the first half.

But he's going to run into Hays for DH bats as well.

That would also require sitting Meidroth.

A weak side DH with poor defense just pretty much has the same value as a Miguel Andujar/Sheets type...more value to the Sox than most other teams due to their lack of pop from other positions.
