Seems like 94-95 touching 96 is too pedestrian in this day and age for relievers.

15 years ago he would have been praised for having "good stuff."

Nice to see Bergolla with an Xb hit.

Stuff today is more about tunneling and shape as opposed to just velocity.

Im going to bring it up constantly for anyone who continues to go after my guy Schriff.

Both can be bad, and they are.  🤣

This broadcast is sure something

I can't stand when announcers b**** and moan about their job. Especially when you're being paid to be at spring training.

61 degrees sounds pretty amazing to me rn.

when you live out here it's like 41 to you

I refuse to believe you are mad about the lineup in the first game of spring training.

Only reserved for paying $$$ for a Dodgers ST ticket and Ohtani does not play or is even present

First Spring opener victory since 2022.

Even though it doesn't count it's always nice to beat the Cubs.

It was 65 degrees in Chicago literally just a few days ago.

And right now it's 30 degrees with rain and snow in West Michigan. Again, I'll take 61.

They say W. Michigan is one of the cloudiest places on earth. As someone that did 20 some odd winters there I think they ain't lying.

Misery loves company. It's 38 today with a venus like cloud cover. Had some flurries this morning. I figured we were done with winter and on our way to spring but we finally got a gulf of alaska low pressure the last week. Had some hail too.

Oddly we had no real winter weather in January or December. Climate is def changing. It was 50 and dry for most of January here.

Anyways, go Sox. Glad to be getting into the better part of the calander.

It always counts. Ammo for family gatherings.

I grew up in St. Joe. Between the gloom and all the snow, 6 months a year were pretty bad. There’s a reason it’s a summer place.

Southside stand up? Schriff is partying in Tucson. PS I loves home runs.

1) It would be very cool if Antonacci suddenly develops power.
2) Meidroth has to be worried about 2 guys, now, Ant-man and Bergolla taking his bench fallback.
3) If guys like Tyson Miller could revisit previous success, we could have a sneaky good bullpen.
4) The Cubs only ran 4 major leaguers out there today. It's still fun to beat them.

I might run into the Schriff when I'm down there. Maybe I'll bring him a printout of all the love Soxtalk shows him.
