It's kinda sad I'm not even interested this year. Didn't watch one spring training game haven't really followed. Reinsdorf doesn't deserve our time. Not that he cares. Yeah they say he wants to win, yeah like it's 1950. How can we as fans allow 46 years of incompetence? 9 playoff appearances in those 46 years and only in one they they go deep in the playoffs. Then This s%*# show. I was fricken 5 when Scrooge McReinsdorf bought the team. I don't know how any major sport can allow an owner do this. And in Fucking Chicago to boot one of the biggest markets. I hope for the best but I ain't counting on it...

Man it's hard to project hope after this one. Normally something I try to do but...double digit runs given up plus striking out 20 times...that's like a high school team playing a MLB team. That shouldn't happen

Crazy thing is they signed Jose Ramirez to a second extension....isn't some of that money deferred?

Kwan's the second highest paid player?

And the A's have signed a bundle of under 27 talent extensions, as well as Severino as a FA last year.

Really could not have gone any worse, so there’s that at least. This is a sure fire 100 loss team if Shane Smith regresses along with Colson.

Getting blown out and looking totally inept was a lot easier to swallow when the team was 90% dumpster dive players.

Unfortunately, I’m aligned. It’s one thing to lose a single game, but they literally got blown out with their best starter on the mound. Their best starter who is far and away better than the rest of their weak rotation, so it’s likely only going to get worse from here.

One could argue that the Sox lineup unfortunately had to face a stud in Misiorowski, but while they only had 2 hits against him in 5 innings, they only had 2 more hits against the Brewers bullpen in 4 more innings.

Regardless, Getz’s lineup racked up 20 freaking strikeouts on opening day. That’s something that has never happened before in MLB history.

So Getz continues to add to his list of bad MLB records, after his impressive single season loss record in 2024. Jerry won’t fire him but I can’t wait until Ishbia takes over and does what any owner with a brain would do and end this front office madness.

And majority weren’t Murakami K’s either. Not even close.

Of course, that’s Braden’s biggest concern right now, too.

The Getz rebuild is an utter failure. They are worse than ever. Worst owner ever.

I doubt the Sox can beat the Crew or the Jay's. Prove me wrong.

I admire everyone that continues to visit this site and post daily. It’s very tough to continue investing time into the White Sox.

Atleast we have the draft to look forward to, right?

Things will get better when JR is gone, Ishbia takes over and makes the changes so desperately needed on the baseball side of the operations.

I don't doubt Getz and company are trying their best given the constraints they've been given, but any normal owner would be embarrassed seeing this OD roster. JR isn't even trying any longer.

It's called trauma bonding.

I found this photo of me at 2 weeks old while helping my mom clean out the house. I had no say in this matter from the start.

They still have a lot of dumpster dive guys on the roster right now, especially in the pitching area and in the outfield.

First impressions from a dreadful White Sox Opening Day -...

The White Sox came into this season having struck out 20 times in only three games over their entire 125-year history, and all three took extras. Their 21 strikeouts against Seattle in 1996 required 1
