4/14 Sox vs. Rays 6:40PM

Inning really turned around on that 2 strike fastball called to a guy clearly sitting fastball. Quero needs to help his pitcher better than that.

Looks like it will probably happen, but it might be a late night.

  • I'll be there assuming the weather holds off enough. Always hate when we have the maybe or maybe not for bad weather effecting the game.

Nice job to finish the inning. Hope he can come back out and keep throwing strikes. No more need to fear failure as he already did it and lived to tell the tale! And also a nice lesson that if you're afraid of the strike zone, it doesn't matter because he never gave up solid contact the entire inning and still managed to give up 3.

Hopefully he can still go 4, maybe 5.

When is the last time we had a great debut from a top prospect?

Organization just sucks developing talent overall

If he strikes out the side next inning sox fans will then have him in the HOF

God his first start...better draw and quarter him and stick his head on the london bridge

Some of you guys are just dumb

Also I think Quero was a big problem that inning

Hitters are just much smarter at this level than AAA. AAA guys would swing at that stuff. These major league hitters realized he was wild and simply took. Can only go up from here.

He didn’t help things. Did he stop once to chill out Schultz?

He also didn’t challenge an obvious strike and instead challenged an obvious ball.

Pereira as the cleanup hitter is something else.

Don't panic....Noah just is not an opener. Have him follow Grant next time.

Nah, they’ll just be waiting for him to fail so they can jump all over him again. Look at this place when the Sox are winning a game. Lot of frequent posters who are silent.

Sometimes this place is the White Sox of message boards.

Looks great. Just too amped up, missing his spots. Fastball looks great, slider shape is great and the cutter is right there.

Wouldnt be shocked to see him settle down over the next 3 innings and shove.

If I recall, Chris Sale didn’t get an out in his first outing and he turned out pretty good!

He's going to have to learn to face the toughest hitters if he's ever to be a ToR starter.

Personally, I felt like Shultz could have used another season or half season to get used to his new weight gain. A little rushed, but it’s early

Relief appearance is an entirely different animal.

Thank you, John Schiffren.

Noah got back on the schedule he should have been on at the close of the 2024 season. It's time for him to use his bullets against MLB hitters and take whatever lumps are necessary.

Wow must be the Rays starter first start.

Murakami not hitting but still walking a ton. Feel like that’s a pretty good sign.

Murakami, walk machine
