Unfortunately I think the Sox are going to be sufficiently cautious that they may not let him finish this inning just due to the pitch count. Teams seem to operate under an assumption (that may be backed by data, IDK) that injury risk cranks up beyond 25-30 pitches in an inning.

A young starter way too amped up and overthrowing and made a bad decision. He will be fine.
