They 10000% have been doing little dumb ass intentional crap like this all year to try getting an edge.

I forget what exactly it was but the Leauge has already created one clarifying rule to prevent them from doing some other nonsense.

I hope at some point we take the lead back and J-Rod gets one in the back.

Didn’t it have something to do with pickoffs?

Ah, Wednesday is a day game. I just got a ticket for tmr's game instead. Section 140 row 9. Right at the edge of visiting dugout down there. Ticket was 60 and had a promo code for 10 off, not bad at a

He def needs to refine his 2 strike repertoire.

And the fact the 3b coach waved him as soon as that interference call was made makes me 100% believe that’s a play in the Mariners’ bag of tricks.

And if they don't want to reward Antonacci for what they think is an intentional drop, then you also can't reward the Mariner's for initiating contact like that to draw a call.

Give them a bag on the obstruction I guess, but in no world was it 2.

2 ump-assisted runs

Exactly - fucking dumbass umpires injecting themselves into home cooking is NOT what they should be there form.

Assholes.

Will had every right to be pissed and I just wish he had gone out to second base and illustrated what dumbass s%*# that was.

I expect we’ll see a Jomboy video in a day or two.

Gameday 3D view of the obstruction play. I left Arozarena's turn in there so you can see what a normal baseline looks like.

Yeah that's 100% on Sam. That's a pretty normal turn around 2nd. Pereda definitely sought him out though. He has no need to avoid him there as he owns the base path, but trying to run into the guy there rubs me wrong.

Today his fastball command has been competitive but he's still not throwing the sweeper where he wants to

2 really nice change ups from Schultz that inning.

Indeed

Noah or the home plate ump?

Great pitch there!

los dos, good one there!

He's pitching wells. The tools are there for him once he matures a bit as a pitcher

Still not sure why he’s in that area to start

Nice to see a swing and miss on a change.

Yeah why is the 2nd baseman trying to be the cut off there? Shouldn't he be covering 2nd on that play?

Edited by chw42

Alright im done crying about umping, lets score some fuckin runs

Busch league f**gots. In Huston Trash-Hoes territory. I CANNOT STAND it when teams try gaining the edge by playing like dirty whores.

Seriously pisses me the f*** off.

I’ll be mad about this s%*# until we have a lead again. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣

On a play right down the line, you don’t necessarily need a double cut with how hard it was hit

man woo is just killing with that splitter or whatever, pretty nasty pitch.

My feeling about the obstruction is that obviously Sam should be more mindful, but also the baserunner clearly took a wide turn as well as a last second sidestep to initiate contact. In the spring, MLB told umpires to call runners out if the runner appears to be trying to bait an obstruction call.

I love Antonnaci's aggressive style of play even though some of it looks a bit forced or even foolish in hindsight. In that sense, he reminds me of how "Charlie Hustle" Pete Rose played the game. Of course I am not excusing his gambling, but Rose was a tremendous competitor that took every extra base he could and played with a winning attitude. And he could care less what anyone else thought about him or his style of play.

Is there a phone number we can call so we can tell Schriffin to shut the f*** up?

I’m still confused. I thought a foul tip strike three caught by the catcher had to be a clean catch. Guess I didn’t know the rule.

Quoting myself here, but after looking it up, I still think I’m right. That can’t be a strike out, right?
