challenge that s%*# fool, foh.

This isn’t the first time the M’s have intentionally sought out contact to get some dumb ass calls. This team is hunting for stupid s%*# like this.

f*** Seattle these fuckin clowns need to go to sleep.

s%*# like that pisses me off so much.

Point of emphasis this season for umpires is supposed to be not rewarding baserunners who try to initiate an obstruction call which to me the baserunner clearly did

He was in the direct path of the runner. Not sure how we can argue against the call. All in on giving home being bs though.

we really needed to at least get 1 out of those chances woo is not pitching that badly.

Jesus, Meidroth. You gonna make out with Murakami?

It’s a dead ball

It’s a dead ball while the baserunner is off the bag with no thought of returning to the bag, so he’s rewarded by allowing to return to the base he never returned to?

I’m more focused on Schultz pitching well rest of the way

Beckham said he was almost on the outfield grass but he really wasnt, it was a normal route

Antonacci is basically Nick Madrigal but a better hitter. Baseball smarts aren't always there

Nature Boy is mowing them down.

Rule 5.09(a)(12). A batter is out when...

An infielder intentionally drops a fair fly ball or line drive, with first, first and second, first and third, or first, second and third base occupied before two are out. The ball is dead and runner or runners shall return to their original base or bases.

But if it's ruled a catch then it was still a DP when they threw to first no?

Dead ball once they rule you intentionally dropped the ball. Runners go back to their base. Same thing as infield fly ruling basically.

I believe so, same as if they overturn a play via replay

Dead ball is what the sox are playing today

Both calls were right guys.

Schriffen is just dumb and Beckham doesn’t know the rules.

FYI Julio hit that line drive at 110 MPH. Sam must have some insane hand eye coordination to drop that the way he did if it was on purpose.

I think he's a little too aggressive, but he's not dumb imo. Situational awareness needs to improve though.

How do they always deem that it was intentional?

He was in the direct path INTENTIONALLY CREATED BY the runner who had zero need to turn that wide.

NOBODY NATURALLY RUNS IN THAT WAY UNLESS THEY ARE SEEKING CONTACT.

It’s Busch league bullshit and if you’re not able to see it then you’re blind.

Sox on track to strikeout like 15 times tonight

I stand corrected. What an idiotic rule.

No its not. If youre running bases you dont turn on a dime

Random side quib: Venable - when you know you're getting tossed, do some work. That was weak sauce

He was close enough to draw the call. I don’t think the turn was anything egregious
