Colson has signs of the Joe Crede lower back issues. From what I recall, they have been something he battles here and there on a somewhat regular basis. First time I think I heard anything of the sort was last season after he was called up.

If you watch him he's always kind of twitchy wiggling around his shoulders. I'm as tall as he is and was fairly athletic but I had a bad back so I was always twitchy like that too already trying to keep it loose.

I'd temper some expectations with Gonzalez. We all know how Truist Field plays, and his home/road splits are quite drastic...

Away: .253/.349/.407/.756

I hope he really has figured some stuff out (I hated when they drafted him), and it would be nice to have another success story - but I do think the vast majority of his performance is more along the lines of a MiLB park factor than anything else.

Have you paid much attention to his last month of video? While the splits and home park factor has some validity ( of course ) he has been raking as of late.

Hitting barrels and shots that would be tanks in any big league park.

You find out if someone's looking for the bigger better deal pretty quickly.

Provide too much freedom...basically complete freedom and you can drive yourself crazy, but controlling/possessive behavior ends up much worse.

If someone doesn't want to be with you or feels they might be happier with another person...best to move on and let them go.

98% of the time nobody else will be able to make them happy either...not if someone is struggling internally to be happy with themselves. Ofc it's hard for people to realize the "me" problem, not much self reflection until it's far too late to go back and put things back together.

Another mistake is assuming having a child will necessarily make them a better more caring unselfish empathetic person. Posittive elationships with parents are a key.

Yep. I’ve made every possible mistake in the relationship book. The two main culprits were being raised by a father who was submissive to his wife to a fault and getting introduced to porn at an extremely young age.

Maybe. I know he's cheap but charters are pretty standard and seriously doubt it would cost 40k.

Anyway, It would prob on a contract; so many flights per year kind of thing.

Understandable but a lot of players have big differences in home and away splits just as Meidroth and Vargas have big difference in their RHP/LHP splits. You could say that their much less AB's against LHP are propping up their overall stats and hiding their numbers against RHP.

It's also why we see Meidroth and Antonnaci both batting leadoff. It's those splits.

With Gonzalez ,others here, more knowledgeable than I about finding AAA statcast info point to remarkable changes in his batted ball profile. Of course that doesn't guarantee success in MLB (Kelenic) but it's probably a better way of looking at it than his H/A splits.
