There's no chance we see Hays back on the roster right?

Junior Perez probably goes down for him. They're paying him too much money to just cut him.

Pereira will be up the same time though.

Does Pereira have options?

Or they give him a full rehab stint at AAA so he can be scouted thoroughly, then trade him off the IL.

Also, going to be interesting to see what Getz does when Hays & Pereira are both back. Assuming Grichuk is safe, they really can’t roster both of them unless you DFA Acuna or demote Braden.

The Sox might be able to flip one of the two, Baltimore just traded for a backup OF with KC. I agree that Grichuk is safe but Perez most likely get sent down.

He does not.

I find it very unlikely that we end up seeing both Pereira and Hays on the active roster unless somebody gets hurt.

You're probably going to see Hays get a very long rehab stint that culminates with him being released if that's what it comes down to.

Drew Thorpe is alive!

So pumped to see how Thorpe does. I’m higher on him than most.
