July 18Jul 18 I find it very unlikely that we end up seeing both Pereira and Hays on the active roster unless somebody gets hurt.You're probably going to see Hays get a very long rehab stint that culminates with him being released if that's what it comes down to. Edited July 18Jul 18 by Jake

July 19Jul 19 Just saying, but last time the Sox traded a RHH outfielder (Derek Hill) because Everson Pereira was coming back, he picked up his 4th injury of the year days later... he has potential but I don't want Getz to make that same mistake again. You can't assume Hays will be worthless as Pereira is far from a lock to finish the season healthy
July 19Jul 19 Pereira played 5 in the field today. Went 1-3 at the plate with 2 batted balls over 105mph and an OF assist.
