Doesn’t mean he’s going to be a TOR starter or anything like that, but people writing him off over a nine game sample where he was adjusting to the league and injured for a couple starts is the definition of insanity.

Or in another universe, he was able to pitch trough the pain in his 3rd to last start and wasn't able to in the subsequent two. You like to highlight his final two starts where he was injured and omit the 5 previous which were all very good starts.

They were terrible.

Sometimes you need to have surgery to tie the tendons back together to promote healing. That's what happened to Tua when he was at Alabama. The Sox simply can't count on him for the rest of this season.

Thankfully it looks like Hicks has figured it out.I see the need for a long reliever if Noah is going to stay up in Chicago.
