How is he safe??

It was his second start against a team that he already faced.

Sure, but lots of overly positive SSS.

Every starting pitcher has that massive advantage the very first time facing a team...

Good slide.

Hell of an effort by Vargas, even if probably the wrong call there by him

Someone dropped their magic wand.

I don’t think that’s the case when it’s a rookie amped up with nerves for their first start.

i dont think the sox are done scoring either

He is? I think he becomes a reliever in a month

Oh, I don't know about that. The squeeze and his innings limit (perceived) will probably put him in the pen by September. I'd think they'd want to develop him and Schultz rather than run with Fedde.

Yeah, it's not exactly routine for guys to sit down 18 in a row in their debuts lol

Not really worried about Sandlin long term based on this start

how about that David Sandlin

Hopefully this is one of those tough learning lesson type of days for Gonzo. Impressively ugly sombrero today.

It doesn't work from the toilet.

Maybe it only works on bats since it’s made of wood. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nice to see Quero making harder contact.

He’s been a completely different player at the plate this past week or so. Even when he is making an out he’s going out with authority.

Schriff seems to be pooching these third out, strike three calls for Sox pitchers. They just drift off and go to commercial.

Okay, that Rikuu catch was as hot doggy as anything Acuña does. And I love it!!

Yeah he is starting to come around. Be great if Teel and him become the combo we want them to.

I wonder if Schriff blew a dube for Prince live. Stone certainly smoked some Green for CSN.

WTF? Talk it up that Bell K just a little. We don't need a "Oh, yeah!! Here's where the comeback starts, bayyy-beee!!!", but dead silence?

Not wills best managing today

Just checked in....yikes, Sandlin got torched this time I see.

He was hung out to dry his last inning. Very weird managing by Will.
