He is far and away the worst defensive outfielder in the sport and by wide margin. His inability to play a passable LF has destroyed any chance of him being an above replacement level player.If/when this team is fully healthy and if Gonzalez is legit, there is a very strong argument that Benintendi is the weak link on the roster and the one who should go. Not sure why this is so upsetting to you…This is embarrassing, and not for me. I was using his Gold Glove as an example of how you can’t judge a player’s present by what he’s done in his past. Also, he is not a league average bat. He hit 20 HRs last year, that with the the time he missed with injuries he had last year.

He is a league averagish hitter which isn’t very good for a DH. Not sure where you came up with this idea that he is more than that.
1 hour ago1 hr Unnecessary risk there I think, might have gotten the foot in but the Sox rarely win close calls on the road

His xwOBA is five points higher than last year. I’m just not going to overindex on a six or seven game sample for a near 32 year old player.
1 hour ago1 hr We never, never get those challenges, never. It the infield call is in favor of the Sox, it is overruled, even when there is not clear evidence. When it’s against the Sox, even when the video shows something, it is never changed. I’m really feeling something is going on here.
