June 12Jun 12 "Cash considerations AND being able to not spend money on players? Father's Day came early this year! Thanks Chris, just what I always wanted!" Jerry probably.

There were a few Yankee commits they released who might have been bouncing around, and once they said they were signing with Phil or Cleve, they traded money slots. That's more appropriate than kidnapping and baseball trafficking.

They traded for $500k of space from the Dodgers earlier this season to fulfill an agreement with Chan-min Park, but apparently still have a Taiwanese IFA they need extra space for.
June 12Jun 12 Too bad there wasn’t a way to trade something interesting with a good portion of whatever is left to get a comp pick. Seems unlikely and I’m not even sure how much we have left.

June 12Jun 12 Well if they don't think there's anybody worth it left in this class might as well trade it. Sox don't have the best track record here so hard to trust them but hey, the org is as deep as it's been in a decade probably since so yea, whatever, keep building.

June 12Jun 12 Nolan Jones is 28 already? Damn, I remember all the hype, but he appears to be a prototypical AAAA player.
