Hey, good on Sox fans (and 10k Dodgers fans) for giving Yamamoto a standing O. He was nails.

Do the Bananas have any pitchers?

Peters bomb breaks up the no hitter.

For real, we'll take a few of those, even if they have to pitch on stilts or line dance before they start.

get fk'd Dodger fans

Impressive performance by Yamamoto regardless....you have to tip your cap.

Cam Booser was a Chicago Dog. He still available?

Small things matter. Chase breaking up the perfect game and Peter’s ending both the no hitter and shutout are huge. Despite getting killed today, the team will wake up tomorrow feeling ok knowing they prevented the big time s%*#.

If this would have been a perfect game, I would have been salty af about it. We hit so many missiles right at people. I know you gotta get lucky for a perfect game, but our xBA this game is right there with the Dodgers and they've got 10 hits...

Confident we can win tomorrow. This team believes they can beat anybody

I put on a very special White Sox jacket before Peters AB. After the HR I took it off and thanked the person who's jacket it used to be in heaven.

Agree. Would have been nicer if we could have had Mune facing Yamamoto in this game.

Glad he was not bunting like the other day.

You are right. A perfect game against you can be a momentum killer.

Isn't this the 2nd no hitter Yamamoto has lost in the 9th on a homer?

Hey we lost to the best team that money can buy in MLB so I’m not surprised with the loss and being no hit would have been a downer but Peters ended that scenario. Don’t be surprised if they comeback tomorrow and win the series

Meh, this was always going to be the toughest matchup of the series. Yamamoto was nails today, hats off to him.

But not getting perfecto'd, no hit, shut out, or CG'd weirdly creates a bit of momentum when it seemed so likely they'd get at least one of those outcomes.

Sheehan should be much more manageable for the bats tomorrow, and Will can make the most of the pen with the Monday off day.

The boys are still holding their own through this stretch, which is what matters most.

Sox refuse to quit. Just a loss and actually a moral victory. Broke the perfect game, then the no-hitter and shutout all on one swing. Thank you, Tristan Peters! Get 'em tomorrow.

Jose Ramirez to the IL with a hand fracture.

Not cheering for it but won’t be mad if the injury bug hits teams like it did us.

Hats off to the Yamamoto. Coming into the game, I think we all knew the only way we would win today would be by some miracle where Burke held the Dodgers to a scoreless clip.

When that unlikely chance was erased on the second pitch of the game… I think most Sox fans knew this game was ova.

Was really strange rooting against the team starting about half way through the bottom of the 8th and was really odd to be upset by the Sox reaching on an error and getting a homer out of Peters. 😆

A hamate injury can linger too. It's what Beni had back in 2022 and he didn't have any power for a whole year afterwards.
