92 off the bat. No wonder Bellinger wanted to sign back there.

Now Kay will go 5+ innings allowing the 2 runs.

What team did we have in the early aughts that couldn't pitch a lick but had a good offense? Getting those vibes.

Right field dimensions in Yankee Stadium are a joke.

Seems like every game is a 1st inning HR from the opponent.

With at least 2 innings of loading the bases and getting out of the innings with line drive smashes to defenders.

2000, 2004 minus Loiaza's near Cy Young in 03

LETS GO BOYS - TIME TO CASH IN HERE!

And a double play ends that pretty quickly. Damn

Crap.

surprised he didn’t bunt

Yankees challenge that if they’re running and he’s safe at first. 😆

Braden loves hitting groundballs.

Is a .470 OPS good?

Braden is whelming. Im worried a bit about his production dropping off a cliff.

Boy I bet NOBODY saw that coming 😆

Can’t waste these opportunities against good teams.

His groundball rate in the minors was pretty bad.

He is SUPER young. He’s going to show out in flashes at the plate and will be overwhelmed by some of the best / veteran pitchers.

I think you’ll see a much better at bat from him the second or third time through though.

And after he gets a hundred or so at bats under his belt, he’ll look better the first time up in a game.

Pretty confident we drop this one. Already down 2 to the Yanks in their field. We'll just have to hope we don't get swept.

He's played like 6 games.

Sox win confirmed, thanks Ron! Gonna bet the house and maybe one of Greg's.

When you look at the disparity in payroll, this matchup is almost unfair. But then again, the same could be said about the matchup with the Dodgers.
