June 19Jun 19 Great win and one that solid teams pickup to avoid sweeps against the other team's worst starter, even if that's not exactly how we beat them. Best we've seen Burke?! Edited June 19Jun 19 by chitownsportsfan

June 19Jun 19 If you haven't had dinner yet. Eat Italian !! Like Tim Anderson used to do when his wife made him spaghetti .
June 19Jun 19 1) Going 5-3 against the Braves, LA and the Yankees has to be viewed as a good thing. 2) Antonacci can;t be too pleased being benched against lefty pitchers. 3) I don't know what the rules are now in terms of making trades. But its obvious that the team needs at least one starting pitcher. The sooner the team gets another starter the better off they are going to be.

Don't think anyone is upset at all. Also keeps him fresher on a team that so far, looks pretty deep.

That has a cumulative effect, just like catches getting beaten up behind the plate over the course of a season.
June 19Jun 19 There are only two remaining teams in MLB without a loss streak of 4+ this season: the Braves and your first place White Sox. And ATL is on a L3 with Misiorowski up next, so the Sox are well positioned to be the last team standingSuch a difference from the last couple seasons

How the Sox shore up the pitching staff is anybody's guess right now.
June 19Jun 19 Took a series from the Braves, the Dodgers, then went 1-2 against the Yankees. Can't complain about that.
June 19Jun 19 Burke great game helped his cause also picking Caballero off 2nd.Murakami will be 2nd on the Sox in HR as soon as Colson hits another 1.Don't forget to vote for you favorite White Sox players for the All Star game.https://www.mlb.com/all-star/ballot?affiliateID=asballot_mlb_article_2026 Edited June 19Jun 19 by CaliSoxFanViaSWside

He's usually been very conservative about using minor league RP arms if they need a spot on the 40. However, if you can promote a good arm who can actually throw strikes and get hitters out you can help the team out without a trade for a RP.
