I saw Colson go up there with a plan to not swing first pitch because the first two batters got out so fast, then he took a middle-middle slider that he should have swung at. Montero is totally attacking the zone, Sox haven't chased a single pitch yet. When a guy does that you just have to hit the ball well.

Verlander getting hurt was a bad break. With that said, this lineup is terrible right now. Half of them should be in AAA.

This is a lineup with too many non-home run threats, IMO

3-0 challenge is so stupid there. I did see a discussion that the high-volume, low-accuracy approach is basically working out for the Sox because almost all other teams are way too cautious using their challenges. But imagine a catcher with some common sense who challenges aggressively...

Worst thing on that challenge was Davis was pitching around him. Quero has no baseball IQ which is odd for a catcher.
