Mentality monsters!

Split feels better than 2-2 given how it could have gone. That's the sort of thing that keeps a season going. Now get Mune healthy, get some pitching additions from Farm or wherever and lets roll.

These guys do not care about the previous days. Splitting that after two walk offs is huge.

The bidets make flushing more purging.

That game took a couple years off my life.

Thank God they didn't choke it away again.

Got a split in Cleveland and back alone in first place despite all that bullshit in this garbage series.

Tough to ask for more than that when every game against this team is seemingly a coin flip.

Good job Sox.

We FUCKIN

Also, that's probably the most intense 4 days of baseball since the ALDS. That was ass puckering and at times infuriating. Good to care again.

Will help us prepare for the real ALDS.

Great win and now are we finally going to see the return of Mune? He's the missing piece for this team to get into a second gear. No more hanging around 5 games over.

4-3 road trip, which could have easily been 6-1 or 7-0, the losses seemed very winnable. But no complaints here - just stay .500 or better on the road and keep crushin at home!

2 more series at home after off day tomorrow before the ASB and we have a chance to break the franchise record for home series won in a row. I think we have won 9 straight.

Oh yea - Mune should be back in a few days too )

Going 4-2 to end the first half 7 games over .500 would make me happy. Anything better would be gravy.

Twins quietly creeping up. We'll have to smack them down again.

Toughest fought series of the season imo. Every game down to the wire battling for first place. Felt like some late August games.

Sox pitching need to cut down on the gopher balls, particularly with men on base. Also we need a reliable, consistent closer. We would have swept the Guardians with a reliable closer. The D was nothing to write home about today. With Mune back , we should be able to increase run production to minimize high leverage closing situations. IMO.

And for everybody who has demanded Trevor Richards be DFAed after every pitch, he has a 1.42 ERA in his last 12 appearances.

Given the state of the pitching staff and the lousy weather this weekend for them to come back and gain a split is tremendous and says something about their toughness.

A well deserved off day to give the pitchers a rest should help before the home stand leading into the break.

You have to tip your hat to them the way they responded.

I already have dibs on being the board Richards stan. But yea he has been low key great lately

Your first place Chicago White Sox leave Cleveland with sole ownership of the division lead, despite some of their best efforts to the contrary.

Obviously would have preferred the series win they could have had, but I think the fortitude it takes to come back for the split after two walkoff losses will end up benefiting them through the remainder of the season.

Nice to be up in the season series 4-3 after winning only 2 games total against Cleveland last year. Still .500 or better against every ALC team so far.

Trevor Richards an unsung hero of this series. Eisert was big yesterday too. Asked a lot from the pen when the first two starters covered less than 8 innings combined.

Mune returning at some point on a winning homestand would be a great way to head into the ASB.

It helped that Jose Ramirez is out and Naylor was traded, both Sox killers in the past.

Don't stop now boys

Always great to win before an off day, especially against these buttholes. Victory cigar time.

These guys lose the first 2 on walk offs but it doesn’t phase them, most teams probably get swept but they come back and split the series. What a great young team who should only get better as they learn from their mistakes. Not a pretty game today but sometimes winning ugly is OK.

Huge win and huge recovery after blowing the first two games. While this team has flaws no doubt, it could have easily been a 4 game sweep.

Sox are averaging 1 run less without Mune, he makes a ton of difference. To be fair to Cleveland, they're playing without Ramirez too.

I have to be rather snarky here and say, So What?!

Mune is out and the White Sox traded away Crochet.

Our team on the field has beaten their team in the field 4 out of 7 games. Won the last two in Cleveland, and is in 1st place.
