I saw thorpe's mlb debut here in seattle. it was not impressive. a poor man's version of mark buehrle but righty in today's mlb. like wtf. changeup needed to be elite to even play as a back end guy, and that was before he blew his s%*# up. It would be the slowest fastball among qualified pitchers this year by .4 MPH.Traded twice too despite great results.
