He's played in every game since he's been up and started all but 1 IIRC, so one imagines it's just an extra day off.

We'll see what happens. You said you wished they could open up a divisional lead, without solid consistent pitching that's going to be hard to do. Unless Getz can get some help it figures to go down t

Still watching? I'm surprised.

I don’t think he’s any harder to watch than Cease was when he first came up. He’s far from a finished product.

Cease was interesting when he came up because they were just killing his fastball. It started cutting on him and turned into a contact pitch. Took him a while to get it figured out.

I've seen enough from Schultz. Gotta go hard for deitmers. Noah may be out of baseball in 2 years

5 innings, 4 runs, one of them should have been unearned, and we're trying to take Noah out back to shoot him

Right they had to change his fastball shape. But it was able to play in the minors the way it was. Unfortunately sometimes adjustments need to be made at the highest level, which might be what we’re watching with Schultz.

It is frustrating as hell though, I don’t blame anyone for being annoyed.

Teel needs so much improvement against LHP

I can handle it as I was forged in the crucible called "watching Hagen Smith pitch"

Why is this happening

He was a bit lucky he escaped that first inning without any damage.

We can acknowledge both a) Schultz is part of the long term plan AND b) right now, he's scuffling bad. 7 hits and 3 walks in those 5 innings as well. The bullpen is overworked as it is.

This has all the makings of a trap series

Getting this out of the way early with Tony comin in

I'm not totally out on him. He clearly needs more work in the minors though. Send him down for Sandlin.

Was unlucky to be in trouble in the first place given that the first two runners reached on bloopers

Few things I enjoy less, than watching Seranthony Dominguez pitch.
