No reason to not have Meidroth lead off and Vargas bat 2nd. Also, Perez needs to be replaced by a better option, as BMont is going to be a liability playing against LHP.

Venable needs better lineup construction. Also needs to up his energy level and kick some butt when needed. He looks too low energy and stoic in the dugout. He does not look like a capable manager for a team in contention. IMO.

Not good.

A few more weeks of Boston not losing, now 10 wins in 12 games, and they won't be trading anybody.
