  • Missed the ENTIRE game (wife wanted to watch Project Hail Mary) Who had Antonacci at an 800 OPS at the ASB? Even moreso, the entire lineup at 700 OPS or more (minus Teel for ABs). Great 1st half boys

Who was the total knucklehead who, early in the thread, said Sandlin should be starting today over Schultz. That guy was waaay off. Oh wait, it was me. What a goofus.

easily the best I've seen Schultz look so far, granted it's the injury ridden A's but if there was an offense to inspire confidence, this is it

Of course Schriff's hero was Jose Canseco 😂

If hicks could only control his pitches consistently

Me too.

He is only human but part of being in good mental health is not stressing about the things that are out of your control. If he wants to be an All-Star it is within him to be better. But this version of him isn't bad. I'll take a 4+ WAR SS every year.

Why on earth?

I guess I'm OK with bringing Ozzie back into the fold officially with the jersey retirement. Time heals all wounds. I'll never forgive him for quitting on the team but overall obviously his tenure was positive in Chicago as a player and manager.

So is the regression over? I think they just played a team that is hot last series.

Teel just refuses to throw his mask away on those foul pop ups.

Edit: Stony just explained why, too funny.

Nice catch, Teel

Hicks and even Dominguez pitching well.

Stone didn't say a word when Schriff was saying how awesome Jose was.

Yea I don't get it. I've never seen a catcher that doesn't throw it a million feet away asap.

dude that changeup is laughable.

If it's one thing I don't see with a lot of Sox pitchers it's the changeup. I Keep wondering why ? If masters it's a great pitch in a pitcher's arsenal.

C’mon Colson, get that smooth swing back.

Congrats to Beni for 10 years of service time.

Schultz threw his changeup way more than usual today (basically swapped it with his sinker which went from most to least used) and it seemed to work well.

We could use this Kuruda guy. He hits from the right side.

Peters gets a good jump on fly balls.

Chase with a nice play, the guy is a gamer.

Meidroth is your second basemen for the foreseeable future. Gold glove defense and a good set-up man in the line-up.

That was a great play.

Chase is looking like a 2.5 WAR type of player which is amazing for the third piece of a trade.

Why is Sam batting? Should be Junior.

Chase continuing his slow decline on offense. Still getting it done defensively.

One of these days I’m sure they’re going to wind up with a power guy in left field, so they will have a problem with where to play Antonacci as I agree with you on Meidroth. Getz is building a team with a lot of good players with more to come.
