Where’s the old Kenny Williams with his hands up gif when you need it?

Who we thinking between Hays & Pereira?

If I were to choose between the two Pereira has more upside.

Has nothing to do with the deadline. It’s Hays/Peirera.

Will either of them last a week?

If not I guess Perez gets his major league job back lol

He did OK for what was asked of him. Nice to have some depth.

Adrian, it is absolutely not interesting this close to the deadline.

Nice last MLB at bat, I guess. At least last MLB AB for now.

I believe they are both out of options. So, one comes up and the other? Stays on rehab assignment for as long as is allowed? Back to the IL on a new fake injury? Dfa? Traded is my guess. I think Pereira joins the active roster and Hays is traded before the deadline.

I think they run out the clock with Hays's rehab assignment, they look for a trade partner, and if they hit that date with no roster spot for Hays then they will just cut him.

Right? They’ve got 2 RHH OFs on rehab assignments

They have to bring up Hays, right? Play him for 4 days then trade him for a rental arm.

Who are you benching?

Benintendi?

"Andrew Benintendi has a .250 batting average with 22 hits, 5 homers, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored in 30 games in his last 30 games."

You're pretty unlikely to get anyone to bite on the $2 million remaining for Hays over the course of 3-4 games (due to his recent injury history), but who knows?

Pretty good numbers vs. G.Cole/Fried, etc.
