PCA could hit AA & AAA pitching, Colson could not. .231 would be nice. Colson, at .214 is far from that.

Missed opportunity to score more runs in the bottom of the first. Colson is back to swinging and missing way too much - and easy K after he is down 2 strikes. I am not suggesting to replace him, but perhaps give him a few games off here and there (although thinking to myself, maybe it is too late in the season now for that) Another idea would be to bring up Bonemer and DFA Acuna, but once again, probably way too late for that experiment. It is just that Colson has become an easy target for a K once he is down 2 strikes.

Colson also got on base at a .400 clip on AA. Their minor league numbers are similar in many ways.

They are not cutting the primary backup at SS to call up a 20.7 year old with 200 AA PA that doesnt yet have a mlb position
