The White Sox are (at best) an average team with much more rebuilding needed over the next several years. I’ll repeat: this season until now has been a lark and won’t be repeated anytime soon.It could get better, but Jerry isn’t going to spend the money needed to and they are going to rely on their homegrown pitching which apparently isn’t all that it was supposed to be. 4 hours ago4 hr Can always count on Francona to roll into Chicago late in the season and just f*** EVERYTHING up
4 hours ago4 hr Easy to get down on these guys after a rough series like this. The problem now is that Detroit and the Cubs could do a lot of damage to the Sox taking them out of first place. It would have been nice to go into those series on a bit of a roll instead of with finger pointing and uncertainty.

Some of the young guys who were great in first half have been terrible in the second half.

Just a catastrophic year for pitching development. Outside of injuries, it’s a worst case scenario.
4 hours ago4 hr BTW, did Ky Bush die? I would have expected to have heard something about his return by now. He's not really part of the plan at all but every now and then a guy like that will get something going.
