2 hours ago2 hr Quero has been looking much better at the plate of late - guy has always hit up until this year so I think this is a good sign. Clearly has to work on his defense and other routines though. Sucks we blew Burke’s start - we haven’t had the best pitching of late so tough to blow those types of games. Maybe blessing with Martin getting ejected and rain delay - get him rest and healed up and maybe he can get right.

Catcher may not be the disaster we thought it was a week ago.

If you knew nothing about baseball, this would be the most triumphant post of all time…Until the last sentence

Two starters down. Gonna take a miracle.
40 minutes ago40 min Well I have gone to the not-Sox-fan parts of the internet and they literally think Davis should be in jail for hitting Sal Stewart. I'm obviously partisan on this issue but I think it's crazy to believe that not only did Davis want to Sal for the crime of hitting a homer (which lots of people have been doing lately!), he would miss badly the first attempt and then lie to Sal by saying the ball slipped out, and then hit him in the head specifically on purpose. Seems unlikely to me. With the Sox in the lead and Davis up 0-1 in the count and his whole season on the ropes. If that set of assumptions was even half-true, I'd want Davis getting some mental health attention. And that's without considering what sort of person I know Davis to be, which is totally mild-mannered and never appearing to give a damn about what opponents are doing. Quite the conundrum. Edited 31 minutes ago31 min by WhiteSox2023

They're just playing the latest rendition of " Who wins the Central " ? Who'd they pick at the beginning of the season ? Maybe the Tigers and figured it was a good idea to remind everyone. Pretty sure they didn't make that prediction right after the Tigers traded Skubal and Mize.
