6 hours ago6 hr Two things: Very clear that Davis wasn't trying to hit Sal. He's missed up and inside on upwards of half the pitches he's thrown in this game. Cannot possibly eject him for that.It's fine for Sal to be pissed off. Part of the deal with these things is if a guy is constantly missing in a place that is putting your livelihood in danger, you can be mad that the guy almost killed you even if he didn't mean to almost kill you. But of course that's no grounds for ejection.If Davis said something in the scrum to get ejected, then okay. But I seriously doubt it.

Our Soxtalk brothers seem to think it may be Thorpe. May just depend on who's turn it is when the Sox make the call. Wouldn't rule out Urquidy, Schultz , Sandlin or even Cannon.
