Massive win today and for this series. Now step on their fucking throats tomorrow. We fuckin

They got just enough of Melton to get the job done and he had been pitching very well.

Braden has had an excellent series so far.

Let's see if Burke can get the sweep Sunday.

Hall of Fame List is golden. Cleans up horseshit like that. 👌🏼

Oh no the team I love just took a series on the road against the team that was supposed to end them this weekend and one or two bench guys might start on a Sunday. Whatever will I do?

braden looks like he's seeing everything right now, I wonder if they tweaked something with his stance or approach recently

1) Venable most probably doesn't make the lineups.
2) If a bench player can't do 6 innings and 2-3 PAs against an opposite handed pitcher and not look lost, they don't belong on a major league team.

What makes you think that (#1) ? In general I would say he has a lot of input but like all things Sox he'll get stat data and who needs rest data so it's collaborative. Do you think Getz has a role ?

I know we all question lineups periodically like I did when Doyle was in there against LHP when he has reverse splits. But I do understand with new hitters you might want to get them in asap and make them feel like they'll have a role here.

Not able to watch the games this weekend but am scoreboard watching and I am so happy. My tigers fan friends are sad. Life is good. Add insult to injury tomorrow. Start running away with this division. Go into the crosstown series on a high and kick the cubs in the nuts. Show them who’s town this is.

Schriff Dawg doing whatever is necessary to will this this team to a division championship.

I don't like how he is looking at the camera.

Only team in long mlb history with a hitter with 20+ hbp in Antonacci and pitcher with 20+ hbp in Kay.

I think Venable has implied a few times that he doesn't have as much to do with the lineups as one may think. I think they mostly come down from stats.

Be advised, you lollygag, Sam will make you pay.

Should have traded for ohtani or Suzuki at the deadline to secure the record

Just have Braden and Colson swap to Montgomeri

Just saw the score. Watched the highlights. This is pure mentality. You can bottle it up and sell it.

I heard you got more action than we saw during the game.

No one has brought up that a week ago, it really looked like Peters and Grichuk had really turned back into pumpkins, really bad.

But the last three games, especially Peters, it seems like they both have turned it around at the plate and found the magic again.

Agreed, Falstaff! I was stunned when the camera switched back from the outfielder gathering up the ball, back to the infield area, and there is Sam, still running! A lot of guts and hustle there, and it turned out to be consequential, as he was subsequently batted in-- but can you imagine the comments (including from me!) if he had been nailed at second?!! What a game!

Ozzie said he hustles like Pete Rose the other night, Sam is a gamer.

I loved the emotion he showed after he got it. This team knows how big this series is.
