Buddy there's already 2 outs.

Yes, indeed. It’s ovah! Sox came out flat today. A strike out feast by the Sox. Bad challenges/non challenges, poor plate discipline/ many Ks, bad luck on hard hit balls…let’s win tomorrow.

I'll be there. Time for this team to get hot.

I assume most offenses around the league are mostly feast or famine and we just don't see it because we aren't watching.

Sox finish 10-11 against the current NL playoff slate (LAD, MIL, ATL, CHC, PHI, SDP).

They won 4 series and lost 3 including the opening sweep in MIL.

I would love one more crack at one of those teams this season.

I think he's playing hurt, right

No, he's just sucking right now.

But they clearly suck and.....

When you hit a ball 105mph into a glove, it just means you aren't trying! Really pathetic stuff.

I had a feeling this would be a stinker. Come back tomorrow and start winning series.

Yep. This was a schedule loss. The rain in June (or whenever we played Atlanta) got us.

Oh well.

Take the Mets series, take the Rangers series, and then continue the SWEEP THE CENTRAL campaign against the Twinkies.

That is all.

.224 isn’t very good

It was high as .350 in like the 5th inning.

well, I think he's talking about HolmesZ. Their relievers stifled us. I think Holmes got lucky.

Montgomery and Vargas had tough luck outs, IMO. It wasn’t like the Cubs series where the Braves were phenomenal in the field.

For sure

He did. It wasn’t like guys were up there flailing at stuff. Holmes had 3 k’s

This was a big time letdown spot after series vs 2nd place Tigers & crosstown rival Cubs, and boy did they let us down 😅

MIL as the opener was such an unlucky draw, would like to have seen that matchup after the Sox found their footing.

But I certainly won't complain about seeing any of those teams again this year lol

Peter’s and Romo both smoked balls right the centerfielder as well.

Ump also bailed him out.

This team is going to FAFO if they don't pull their heads out of their asses on offense.

I could accept a dud performance, but this has been an amalgamation of a lot of the same crap that's been happening on offense for weeks now. So many players need to pull their heads out of their asses and start playing like they want to fucking be here.

It's not enough to just have a great inning here or a good offensive game there. It means nothing if you go in the hole for the rest of the week. Get it together...

The sky isn’t falling. Over the last 5 weeks they’re exactly 15 and 15. They also swept the only division games they played in that period. They keep playing at even a .500 clip while beating the central and we win the division.

Simply put: Shut the f*** up… please.

I thought ump was fine with Holmes pitching. Got worse with the relievers

Coming off the Detroit series, these past 4 games have been really deflating.

Offense has just been a complete no-show.

We get it. You’re not impressed. Now step away from the ledge and shut the f*** up.

The Braden lineout had a higher xBA than any of the Braves hits in the game, just one of those days

I can't wait for the post about how bad we are blah blah blah.

We are going to make the ALCS and some people will be so busy complaining that they won't be able to enjoy it.

I do find flaws in how they determine xBA sometimes. You’re telling me that is more likely to be a hit than Riley’s liner down the left field line?

Even if they failed to make the postseason, this season has been a huge success. The organization is no longer a laughing stock and may be able to actually be seen as a place guys want to play for now.
