Astros lose. Ginkel strikes out the side on all breaking balls.

Thought they were going to walk Alvarez...but closers are never built that way to avoid challenges.

Like I wrote last month it's going to come down to the end.

In that respect the Sox may have an advantage Detroit, Kansas City, Colorado the last 10 games. Seven of the 10 are at home.

That doesn't discount though what takes place in the 10 days or so before that especially if either the Sox or Cleveland go on a run or fall apart.

Another thing that could play a factor is playoff experience. Cleveland has made the post season seven of the last 10 years. I don't know how many of their current roster has been through the wars to get into that position compared to the Sox roster.

Not only that, but two time Manager of the Year already in Vogt.

There's clearly a reason no 100+ loss team has ever followed up with a single division winner in 120 years of baseball history, let alone three years of 346 losses piling up.

white sox probably won't have such a dramatic turnaround

but certainly over the span of two years more than doubling their win total

Won't happen.

Cantillo has really stunk for them for his last 3 or 4 starts. Just a shame.

Also it's amazing how all these can't miss Orioles prospects are run of the mill .700 OPS guys.

Kinda insane to think without those four come from behind wins after the 7th the guardians would be pretty much dead and buried in the division. They figured out a way to win those games but damn.
