Think the highest we had was last week at 9 over at 90.2 on ESPN and 90% on FG. So losing those 3-4 in Houston didn't hurt us much. Really we should have swept the Twins with any situational hitting or pitching in game 2 of that series but water under bridge now.

I think 85 wins will take division. We basically just need to play .500 and not s%*# the bed in the Tribe series.

I think ESPN uses FanGraphs for their playoff odds.

Not sure they look that much different to me outside of the hot streak vs. COL/LAA. 5 shutouts in their last 20 games, feels like this place would burn down if the Sox were going scoreless 25% of the

  • Let’s go Baltimore. With this few amount of games remaining, 3 games up seems so much better than 2 games up.

  • We really just need to take one of those games in Cleveland and get the tie breaker. Just don't get swept

They don't but at this point with like 18 games left they've pretty much merged on the math. They use different projection systems. I don't know where ESPN gets their data for their WAR or for their projections but it's not FG.

Fangraphs went from 70.4% division to 76.3% division after Cle loss today. Playoffs at 89.5%.

It's been so similar when I've looked at them the past couple of months that I thought they were the same. But they're not 100% the same, weird.

Our Magic number has gone down 4 days in a row....I'll take that.

Indeed.

Baseball is still a marathon, not a sprint. Keeping perspective like this, showing that we're making progress one day at a time, is what's keeping me sane.

I’m not getting my hopes up but it is 2-1 A’s over Jays after 2.

That botched rundown really needed Benny Hill music playing over it

A's are running all over Cease. 5 stolen bases. 4 of them this inning to help produce 2 more runs.

Henry Bolte having the game of his life.

A's about to choke this away

A's in trouble. 3 run lead with 2 men on and 0 outs.

They let Lopez go for way too long.

Jays run themselves out of the inning, now down 1.

A's are gonna need to hold it down in the 9th with a 1 run lead.

And Andres Jimenez ties it...

That's actually bad for the Guardians

Well, if they don't walk it off here, at least they can't use Varland in the 10th.

rookie SS couldn't get but down

one more shot for walkoff before extras Jeff Mc'Neil

Edited by caulfield12

A's win! McNeil walks it off on an infield single.

Toronto miraculously blows it after coming back from 5-1 down to tie

also knocked Varland for term...maybe/probably

14 to the post-season.

Think bigger. WE sweep or 2of3.
