Well, after the other results we're over 90% on ESPN and FGs. At this point I think we can go ahead and say only an epic choke would blow a playoff appearance. This group is better than that, they've shone it all year, and three in a row to finish the season against the Rockies will be a chance regardless of what happens prior.

But Robert has since caught fire, batting .311/.371/.623 with six home runs over a 19-game stretch entering Saturday’s play.

Beni will probably go down as Hanh's best free agent signing, outside of Hendricks. But it's only because Getz and Co actually finally figured out how to best utilize him.

Robert was also very complimentary towards Venable for the "fun environment" Venable had created in a recent article.

Fwiw: Robert has a good relationship with many of the current players. Especially Burke and Vargas. They didn't trade him because of chemistry or clubhouse issues.

Feels like the old core crumbled because guys formed cliques and didn't really like each other. When the winning stopped in 2022, whatever chemistry they had in 2021 stopped too.

Benintendi has been a disaster in terms of fWAR value over $75 million, but he's always been great against the Twins and hasn't actively hurt them at DH this year.

Moncada/Grandal...TA isolated by himself...then Keuchel as well as Meat and Potatoes Kelly Graveman in the pen.

Not sure what to say about Jimenez's lack of seriousness about conditioning and improving his craft as a player after everything came so easily in the beginning.

Just one of those things. A trip to the moon on gossamer wings... Makes me upset to think about it. Hard to forget.

Robert will come here and be injured within two weeks. I 100% guarantee it. If Getz bring him back he is asking for trouble.

The Sox have finally washed out the stench of the worst season in MLB history. We should want nothing to do with that.
