9/3, Sox at Astros, 1:10 PM CT. Castillo vs Brown

As said before there was no reason to give up that real prospect....Seattle was trying to get rid of Castillo...if you had to give up a throw in how about someone not tearing the cover off of the ball. Taking the whole contract and giving more??

They had to trade away Gonzalez to draft Prosek...who is basically another Boston Smith, but 2+ years behind him as a prep bat.

The lack of adjustments by Will along with no sense of urgency is exasperating. Not moving Mune out of the second spot is managerial malpractice. Also don’t like to hit the strikeout prone Montgomer

  • Urquidy being used in mop up duty now...lol. Honestly Urquidy is probably better than Castillo at this point.

not an acceptable excuse since they all play 162 but it also reveals a poor farm system, he was once in charge of that

Would have much rather traded Smith than have the contract on the books next year

Why not both??

Seems like everybody besides us has a lot of success against Sousa.

Sousa has dominated us this year, I don't understand it

Another former Sox pitcher.

Are you arguing for or against those trades?

Of Tony LaRussa fame...cause Tony decided to intentionally walk Turner on a 1-2 count to face Muncy.

Feels like the boys just gave up on this one after Castillo imploded in the 3rd.

I was told he’s a leader!

Matthews vs. Fedde

Bradley vs. Kay

Fedde is our ace right now lol.

453 PAs and 157 K's for Mune now.

1 for 13, 8 K's in his ABs in this series

4 for 34, 18 K's in his last 10 game ABs, walks not withstanding of course.

Against lol...the whole "where will he play?" thing has been vastly overused.

5/58 or something like that

Blue jays stand 2nd and 3rd.

Blue Jays runner stopped at 2nd with 2 outs on a double hit down the line. Cost them a run.

Have to break out article with Houston/Seattle predicted to be ending up tied and Mariners also holding tie break at 82-80. Cleveland 83-79 for third WC.

Espada fired.

Espada fired.

Isn't Espada being soft fired anyways after the season?

Definitely, they checked out. That's where you need an Ozzie style of manager because you know Ozzie would get on his players when they half assed it. Will is too laid back, even comes off as if he really doesn't care.

We have no idea what happens behind closed doors

What a stupid fucking trade. Stupid series, just get the f*** out of here without any injuries and go win 4 at home.

Yah, we gave up a kid who is still hitting well for Seattle's AA team. OBP and OPS still up there. I don't understand why Venable keeps starting Castillo.

We don't have a choice.

Abreu to Hader for the L it seems.
