The obvious answer would be to bring up Sandlin and Thorpe but who knows with Getz.

I mean how much more do they have to see? This is another James Shields, guy is toast.

I'm sorry they are not enjoying their Saturday night

Ozzie is fucking hilarious. "Thank god Grichuk hit that HR or I treat you (Venable) like Pedro Grifol"

If Brazaban can rot on the taxi squad, so can Castillo.

Man that was great. Cards fans were stunned. A lot of Sox fans in the stadium to tonight!

So the Sox had to beat the Cards and Castillo

They have a 3 game lead over their next closest competitors for that 3rd wild card spot. But I think the path to a deep playoff run rests on homefield advantage of some kind. Let's see. Some of this is just bad luck/variance. Hope it evens out in the end.

The lineup of the first game with the Cards was not bad luck, it was managerial malfeasance. Worst lineup of the year by far.

It would help if Wil would play our best players. I am all for mixing up the line-ups when strugling, but we need to play the guys that got us there in the first place.

Agree. Will is an inflexible manager when it comes to splits. We need to play our hottest hitters like Peters and Grichuk regardless of the pitcher that we are facing.

Seeing the way the guys reacted after the final out definitely makes me think this took a lot of pressure off them. Hopefully it carries over to tomorrow.

Just saw the homer. Knowing our luck this week, shocked it wasn’t robbed. Awesome moment!

That s%*# was in the air for what felt like an eternity. I was expecting it to get caught at the wall because that's just been our luck recently.

Just listened to Len's call. His finest moment this year IMO. Classic call

Their biggest challenge of the year, by far, begins Monday. If they felt pressure now I cant imagine its going to ease up in the next few days.

Very small crowds for September night games in football territory

Plus White Sox tickets weren’t exactly a hot commodity at the beginning of the season for pre sales

I turned it off as soon as Bernal went deep . I could kick myself for that . never again . so, they are not dead yet after all ヅ

It was a great win but the two guys that needed good at bats in the 9th were awful. That needs to change or it will.simply be one great AB.

I don’t believe the biggest challenge will be drawing fans. In fact, it will be winning games

Miggy's AB could've been better but that third called strike just nibbed the top part of the strike zone, that was just a pitcher's pitch. Mune's, that was atrocious. The first pitch he just watched hit the middle inside part of the plate, in May that would've ended up 420 feet into left field, today he stares at it or just whiffs on it. Mune is broken and we need him now.

A well timed Grich Bullet was so sweet. Take the series in StL and then do the same in Cleveland.

I think he means in Cleveland.
