This loss was on Will. Starting Murphy instead of Davis and gifting 3 runs to the Guardians in the 1st inning.

  • I don’t think anyone is mad at him. Rather he shouldn’t have been put in that position.

If Doyle had not been pinch hit for by Braden, Peters could have been in left instead of Antonacci. The game ends on Rochios's at bat when Peters catches that ball. Doyle had 2 hits already and Braden

If the Sox wanna win tomorrow, they can not start Castillo, if they do, they're giving the Indians the game

Do you happen to have his route on a play last series (last game of the series) in Cleveland to end the 8th?

Thought so, thanks so much. I’m gonna go throw my phone.

It needs to be a ball in the dirt in all honesty.

He didn't even swing at those off speed pitches. He was sitting fast ball.

Glad I missed this one.

Reminds me of the game in Boston, they were one strike away.

This one may cost them a whole lot more. Cleveland does, what Cleveland does, they've been doing it for years.

12th time the Sox took a lead into the 7th inning or later and lost the game.

So much for the momentum from Monday.

By the way, Detroit won again that's 8 of 11 heading into Chicago.

Muni already down 0-2 in the count for tomorrow's game.

0-2, they need to be unhittable, especially when Rocchio is in protection mode, make him chase high or very low, basically in the dirt. Gotta trust your catcher to keep it in front of him. That fastball was slightly above the strike zone, unacceptable in that situation.

With Romo or Quero not catching, it was feasible to throw one on the dirt on the 0-2 count.

Don’t really have a ton of options tomorrow. I bet we see Schultz get a few innings.

He won’t be playing

Watching the first one down the middle of the plate and swing at one out of the zone

Players that shouldn’t be playing tomorrow:

Mune, Braden, Rogers, Acuna

Anyone ask him why he made the dumbass decision to start Murphy?

We'll probably find the catch probability tomorrow

Reading the box score it appears those who were concerned about Murphy "starting" were right.

It will be Kay

then Fedde against DET

theoretically Sandlin next

That's just the expected batting average. Catch probability is based on opportunity time and starting position.

Back on the Kolson "bandwagon"?

Also hitting around .100 during this stretch

at least he's more of a threat than Braden

I would be shocked if it isn't 95% or higher.

It’s not even a question. Castillo isn’t starting. The question regarding Castillo is, “Will he start for the White Sox again in 2026?”

I don’t think he will.
