White Sox Winner!

They avoided shitting the bed tonight, with some solid pitching, a couple outstanidng defenisve plays, and Mune. Well done. Hoefully they can grab a little momentum. Think Mune can help with that.

Vargas is such a damn spark of a player.

No matter what happens this final week and half, seeing him turn into a very good player has been so cool.

Any win right now is a big win. Fedde has been an unsung hero for this club, he's saved their asses a lot.

They did just enough on offense but man that has got to get better.

The bottom three in the order tonight 0-9. Not good.

Excellent work from Fedde. Probably should've been pulled earlier in the inning, but regardless good work.

Mune getting only his 2nd multi-hit game and a big 3-run homer was such a massive relief. Please let this be him getting out of the slump.

Still, this team really needs to find ways of generating runs outside of random 1 inning outbursts.

There is zero chance Mune hits that ball for a triple before tonight. His barrel is lingering in the zone again, at least it was tonight.

bothers me no one drove him in

Our destiny really is in our own hands. If you had said in march would you take with 9 games to go that the Sox needed to win 5 to have a winning season and a 90% playoff chance?

f*** outta here: yea! We take that.

we gotta enjoy this as tenuous and soul wrenching as it's been the 2nd half.

The wins are heaven

The losses are hell

I'm happy with any playoff appearance and result this season.....although I realize any postseason losses would still be instantly tragic

Well lets see what happens I guess. The bare minimum right now is winning 2 of the next 3.

This game is proof that they need to wear the Southside jerseys more.

I am going to need an AED next to the lazy boy at the ready for these games.

Great win as I think we need to take 3 wins in this series but the bats have to come around as our pitching isn’t going to go out there and hold teams to 1 run every game. Mune might have finally figured things out as I noticed his hands were a bit lower in his batting stance.

BMont is lost, shouldn’t be out there unless for defense and he’s not exactly Robert Clemente in right field.

Rockies have totally given up. If we can't win 2/3 that series to get to 84 we 100% do not deserve playoffs. Just win 2 of the next 3 against Detroit and 4/6 from Royals/Rockies and we good.

That’s the game plan but the Guards have the A’s this weekend and I watched the Rays-A’s series and the A’s have given up too especially yesterday afternoon.

Huge win. Better yet, Mune may be back. I know that one game doesn't mean he's fixed, but he looked more confident. That home run was a blast, and the triple was a nice piece of hitting. Maybe it was the jersey. Just let him wear the Southside jersey all the time now.

Maybe they need some more retirement ceremonies for players of that era. Someone contact Grandal! Is Moncada retired yet? /s

Didn't they sweep the Jays recently?

Took 2 out of 3 and they have a better September record than the Sox. I can see the A's taking 2 out of 3 against CLE.
