The reality is the playoffs have already started for the Sox. They have to play and manage all 9 of these just like that is the case. And if they do make the playoffs having to play with that pressure

They turn Sears into a Willis tonight. Sox win comfortably.

Peters is day to day but there’s not much time left. Gonna be fun watching Doyle hit against righties. 🤟🏻

I really would have liked to be excited about Atlanta just beating the Astros.

Orioles loss as well, which helps just due to tiebreaker

What a choke this month

Cue the Ozzie choke gif…

Venable will give the guys a sternly written nap in the clubhouse after the game

THAT was the worst loss of the year… bar none. Tommy Pham better be flipping tables in that clubhouse and the boys better not lose another game at home for the rest of the year.

I don’t blame Venable for this one. As I said earlier, this was a deadline loss.

Meidroth having a meltdown….team is imploding before our own eyes…but hey Tommy Pham will fix it, right? Right?

Why don’t they want to give Thorpe a shot? Sandlin has mostly sucked

We gonna see a position player pitch tomorrow? Who is even left aside from Castillo?

You can't win many when you give up 11 runs and what 16 hits or something like that?

That was a painful beat-down.

Tuesday’s loss was way, way worse

The deadline was an epic meltdown. The team literally would have been better without any moves.

Yeah it’s a really bad look for Getz

Maybe Noah starts tomorrow? Oh boy,,

No.

They took their foot off the gas and laid down after the 3rd inning, non competitive at bats all while watching their pitching staff implode

I’m sorry but there’s no way Thorpe isn’t better than Sandlin. He completely falls apart as soon as there’s traffic.

Loser stuff from a loser franchise. Nothing will change until the old man croaks 🤷‍♂️

I think the 16 hits from Detroit were the main problem in this one. Tough to have the comeback but you just flat out got beaten. For me, bad loss = mental mistakes give up a game that should have been won easily

Sandlin is a reliever, IMO
