The alternative that most thought initially though was WAY worse. Achilles is a year+ long recovery process.

Braden should only be used as a late inning defensive sub when the Sox are ahead and Antonacci is in LF.

You are not wrong. Braden will have his role and has a bright future, but grichuk is much better right now

Braden is very good; and I assume the complaints are about Cavnar, but she's no worse than several others in MLB. I'd like to see the Sox hire Wexleman. I think she'd be good PBP
