::sneeze:: I don't have an answer for that. I can recall three times I've talked about something sexxxy on this site, and one of them was quite a while back. The other was prompted by someone else's sexxxy talk, and the most recent one -- the reference to the Chinese porno shop in Chinatown -- wasn't sexxxy talk so much as, "That was a f***ed up shop," talk. So I'm not sure what you're talking about and reject your characterization.

*sigh* do I really have to look it up?

P.S. I want an admin to edit your ridiculous signature.

Great success.

 because they're more likely to enjoy fiction?

I would think history buffs would pass out from all of the false logic and assumptions that the movie/book makes.

What's wrong with fiction? I write fiction! :P

But I back you on the second statement. Well informed fiction is where it's at.

Perhaps if you're in the mood for another western you could check out The Proposition. I haven't actually seen it yet but I've heard good things.

Boring movie.

Boring movie.

No way.

This is another movie written by Nick Cave, and if none of you know of Nick Cave, he's the baddest ass lyricist, singer in the music business.

Stagger Lee

He said "Mr Motherf***er, you know who I am?"

The barkeeper said, "No, and I don't give a good goddamn"

To Stagger Lee

He said, "Well bartender, it's plain to see

I'm that bad motherf***er called Stagger Lee"

Mr. Stagger Lee

Barkeep said, "Yeah, I've heard your name down the way

And I kick motherf***ing asses like you every day"

Mr Stagger Lee

Well those were the last words that the barkeep said

'Cause Stag put four holes in his motherf***ing head

The Proposition may not have the "classic" shootout scene, but that's what makes it good. It breaks the trend and the cliches. It may move at a slower pace, but it's all well worth it. It has plenty of tension, plenty of conflict and did a fine job of keeping my interest.

Just saw 'We Are Marshall'.

I really really liked it.

I can't even imagine what that was like when it happened.

Watched "Sahara" last night. Not a bad movie. Get's boring at times, but Steve Zahn makes it a good movie. Tonight, I'll be watching Batman Begins for the 2nd time...god, I love that movie.

The pursuit of happyness was enjoyable.

Rented 'Shop Girl' last night (that's right, I did it) and was pleasantly surprised. Wasn't really sure where it was headed at first, but there was some subtle character development slowly going on.

It is very good. Another one of those 'put life in perspective' movies, for sure. It is well done, i would definitely say go see it to anyone who hasn't.

I've seen Batman Begins about 30 times I absolutely love it, every time it's on a movie channel I just have to stop and watch it no matter what part of the movie it is. Christian Bale is by far my favorite actor.

Just watched The pursuit of happyness, i thought it was a really moving story.

also i recently seen short bus, needless to say that was interesting.

Have you ever seen him in "The Machinist".Very good movie and he doesnt even look like himself in that movie which shows me how dedicated he is to acting. He must have weighed about 85 pounds.

Think he went down to 110. Wanted to go to 100 but the director told him it wasnt healthy. I read all he did was eat an apple and a can of tuna for a long time to lose weight. Amazing thing is Bale shot that movie than had to put on weight and get in shape for Batman Begins.

I've seen the machinist about 20 times, it's such a great acting job on his part. He had to go from his regular weight around 195 and toned to 110 and nearly dead for The Machinist and then up over 200 pounds and crazy ripped for Batman Begins. He's so unbelievably dedicated to his work, it's a shame he hasn't done more.

He was great in "All the Little Animals".

What else can you tell us about 'Short Bus'? It was very popular around here, I never got around to watching it.

its basically a womens search for an orgasm. it reminds me of crash in the sense your introduced to alot of characters and they all revolve around one another and hang out at this sex den called "short bus". if your comfortable about you sexuality i would say give it a watch, its got a ton of sex scenes and it gets graphic at times for example: 3 men all getting down with each other, while one eats another's asshole out while singing if i recall correctly the star spangled banner.

hope that helps :cheers

I saw an interview online for when he did the Machinist and he said all he did was sit around at pubs eating salad and smoking cigarettes :bang
