On a sidenote, this is my first game thread of the year.

C'mon Freddy! Do what you did @ Wrigley and shut-em down! I expect the Sox to show alittle more offense than these last few games. Washburn is good but he's no Zambrano, Prior, Sanatana?, or Colon. Lets get an early lead and coast.

 

Get us at least a split Freddy. This will also be a good pitching matchup I'm guessing.

We need to get the lumber out of it's slumber. The Twins, as expected, are not laying down for us.

Yeah even though we are 5 games up, I'm still not comfortable. The Twins still scare me. Hmm maybe the wild-card will come out of the Central this year if the Sox and Twins and keep on winning?

I am not counting on that though. If the Sox go to the playoffs it will be because they won the Central Division.

It's been a while since he's stolen a base. He better get his act together.

I have been very impressed with the halos thus far in the series. Good pitching, good defense, even with 2 key players missing. This is good experience for the Sox, it might be a playoff preview.

I'd be thrilled with a split.

This may be the game where Pods sits. Maybe even AJ, considering they're facing a LH. Hopefully, Uribe rides the pine, though since he's 0-for the road trip. In any case, we need Freddy to repeat his Wrigley performance.

Should be Dye's night. He's 14 for 31 with 2 homeruns and six walks against Washburn in his career.

 

AJ and Jurrasic are a combined 0-12 against Washburn.

This thread needs more Widger, damnit! And some Pablo Ozuna love as well.

I have not seen the lineup but I would guess Widger in for AJP, Ozuna in for Uribe.

I wouldn't sit Uribe. Facing a lefty is probably just what he needs to break out.
